Schutzhund TitlesA German sport with tracking, obedience, and protection phases. |

B/BH |
Begliethunde (companion obedience and traffic sureness): A temperament test required prior to entering a schutzhund trial. Dog must receive qualifying score in the obedience phase before moving to the traffic sureness and temperament portion of the test. |
SchH1 |
Schutzhund 1: The lowest titling level in schutzhund. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: tracking, obedience, and protection. |
SchH2 |
Schutzhund 2: The intermediate titling level in schutzhund. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: tracking, obedience, and protection. |
SchH3 |
Schutzhund 3: The highest titling level in schutzhund. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: tracking, obedience, and protection. |
FH1 |
Fahrtenhund 1 (advanced tracking test): An advanced tracking test roughly equivalent in difficulty to an AKC TDX. |
FH2 |
Fahrtenhund 2 (advanced tracking test): An advanced tracking test more rigorous than the FH1. |
French Ring/Mondioring TitlesA sport with several different flavors (French, Belgian, Mondio) with obedience, agility, and protection components. |

FR1/MR1 |
Ring 1: The lowest titling level in Ring. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: agility, obedience, and protection at two different trials. |
FR2/MR2 |
Ring 2: The intermediate titling level in Ring. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: agility, obedience, and protection at two different trials. |
FR3/MR3 |
Ring 3: The highest titling level in Ring. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: agility, obedience, and protection at two different trials. |
Belgian Ring TitlesA Belgian sport with obedience, agility, and protection components. Belgian Ring titles are numbered opposite the other ring sports. |

Belgian Ring Category IV: The introductory test in Belgian Ring. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: agility, obedience, and protection. |

BR2 |

Belgian Ring 1: The highest titling level in Belgian Ring. A dog must receive qualifying scores in three phases: agility, obedience, and protection. |
KNPV Titles & DistinctionsA Dutch sport with scentwork, waterwork, obedience, agility, and protection components. KNPV titles may be designated as "met lof" meaning "with honors" if the dog scores a perfect score and is invited to complete an extra exercise by the judges. |

PH2 |
Politiehond 2: The highest titling level in KNPV. A dog must receive qualifying scores in scentwork, waterwork, obedience, agility, and protection. |
ObH |
Objectbewakinghond 1: The KNPV Guard Dog certification. The ObH examination is similar to the PH1 but does not include waterwork. |
SpH |
Speurhond: The KNPV Police Tracking Dog certification. The ObH examination is similar to the PH1 in obedience and agility, but has much more rigorous tests of tracking and scent discrimination. |
RH |
Reddingshond: The KNPV Search and Rescue Dog certification. The SpH examination is similar to the PH1 in obedience and agility, but has much more rigorous tests of tracking, waterwork, and scent discrimination. |
Met Lof |
Certificate with Honors: A distinction earned when the dog scores above a set threshold (each titling venue varies) in a KNPV trial. |

Utility Dog: The advanced level obedience test. Dogs must complete three "legs" to earn this title. |
UDX |
Utility Dog Excellent: To earn a UDX, the dog must have received qualifying scores in both Open B and Utility B at 10 separate licensed or member obedience trials. |
OTCH |
Obedience Trial Champion: Dog must have won: 100 points; Dog must receive at least one first place Open B, one first place Utility and a third first place ribbon in either class First places must be awarded by 3 different judges Must be at all-breed events One of the required first places may have been won at a Specialty Show. Open B must have 6 in competition Utility must have 3 in competition |
HIT |
High in Trial: A distinction earned when the dog receives the highest qualifying score of all regular (titling) obedience classes at an obedience trial. |
HC |
High Combined: A distinction earned when the dog receives the highest total score of dogs competing towards their UDX and/or OTCH computed by adding their Open and Utility scores together. |
Agility TitlesAKC or USDAA tests of agility skills getting progressively more complex as the classes advance. |

Novice Agility/Novice Jumpers: The novice level AKC agility test. Dogs must quality three times to earn this title. |
OA & OAJ |
Open Agility/Open Jumpers: The intermediate level AKC agility test. Dogs must quality three times to earn this title. |
AX & AXJ |
Agility Excellent/Excellent Jumpers: The advanced level AKC agility test. Dogs must quality three times to earn this title. |
MX & MXJ |
Master Agility Excellent/Master Jumpers: A dog must earn 10 qualifying scores in Excellent B (Standard & Jumpers respectively) after earning their AX/AXJ. |

MACH |
Master Agility Champion: A dog must achieve a minimum of 750 championship points and 20 double qualifying scores obtained from the Excellent B Standard Agility class and the Excellent B Jumpers With Weaves class. |
AD |
Agility Dog: The starters level USDAA agility test. Dogs must quality three times to earn this title. |
AAD |
Advanced Agility Dog: The advanced level USDAA agility test. Dogs must quality three times to earn this title. |
MAD |
Master Agility Dog: The masters level USDAA agility test. Dogs must quality three times to earn this title. |
Games |
Non-Standard USDAA Classes: All games are offered at the starters, advanced, and masters levels. Gamblers - to demonstrate proficiency in distance control and competitive strategy. Titles include SG, AG, GM. Jumpers - to demonstrate a dog's jumping ability and fluid working habit. Titles include SJ, AJ, JM. Relay - to demonstrate cooperative team effort and team sportsmanship. Titles include SR, AR, RM. Snooker - to demonstrate versatility in competitive strategy. Titles include SS, AS, SM. |

ADCH |
Agility Dog Champion: A dog must achieve the MAD plus 4 additional legs from each of the Masters Games classes and five qualifiers in tournament classes. |
